When You're Here
Waves crashing, the tide is high but I don't move because on the other side of the ocean I see you.
How is it that you're so close but I can't reach you?
A distance sound, is that your heart calling for me, is it your soul searching for me?
Even through the tears, I can see your face, your dark eyes forever consuming me.
Before I knew it, I was under water, no longer able to see the surface.
Then I came up, gasping for air, looking, searching, waves still crashing, tide is high, I can't move because on the other side of the ocean I find you.
