Safe in God's Keeping
In a moments time
I saw a tear running down my face,
The tears that become a river
Over a lifetime of weeping.
Reason out of rhyme
See the bountiful gift of grace.
Reflections in a mirror
Awakened from life's sleeping.
And when I raised my eyes
To see the heavenly grace
I knew that my tears
Were safe in God's keeping.
