“I’ve found the perfect place”.

I’m sure your intentions were pure,

This moment was meant to be ours.

But I reject.

“Why don’t you trust me?”

You have given me many reasons to trust

And very few to not,

I voted for this poem and so happy it won. This was the only poem that gave me goosebumps and moved me so so much… life is finite and missed opportunity is something that scares me every day, and the thought that I could give someone up not realising good they are for me or vice versa scares me, so this poem really struck a chord with me. What a beautiful, beautiful talent you have. Please keep creating ❤️

What an amazing poem. Favourite line was the one about him coming along in chapter 5, it just felt so natural. You’re gifted, this poem made me feel things. Had tears reading it!
