The River of Life's Dream

As I watch the flowing stream
I'm remind of that child's song
Where life is just a dream
Where the dark sky lights up with life
With stars that are glowing; shining
Far away, whispering to trees and
Rocks through the language of a breeze

The longer you row on
The more life seems so far long ago
That boat you made, the songs you sang
Were lost in the flood of life we made
And we learn that life is but a dream
In a child's mind of fantasy and naïve youth
It is all just a dream in the end
