My heart it would break
Shadows cast never fade
I yearn to see your face again
As tear drops flow to eternity
Give me the strength I need
The strength of heart I lack
To say goodbye to a friend
Please don't leave me
Darkness would eclipse the light
Within the emptiness of a void
I fight against the beat of my heart
Every beat brings a emptiness
A soul lost of heaven
Please won't you show me the way
To heavens golden gates
Please don't leave me
What is lost it can be found
Heavens warmth is of heart
Flowing from the sorrow of my pain
Within the darkness is a flicker
A small flicker of hope
I hold onto that flicker
For it will guide me home to you
