Buoyancy, Haughtiness , jagged mistrust to name a few ,that grabbed a cradle to rock in as you saved through out this mission. So full so truthful of this virtue that truly envisioned you in all your beauty as a writer/person

I somehow missed this one earlier, I really like this title. The first stanza is freaking amazing!!! Ok I know you’ll ask about the rest, lol. I do love the whole piece but wow that first line is one of the best I have read.

So, keep the first line and delete the rest, is that it, toots? You knew that was coming what with me being so punky predictable and such. See how I aim to please. I'm a keeper.

One of the poems that just barely didn't make my favorite 10 this month. I really liked this one! The strong imagery and excellent contrasts establish a highly empathetic tone; it offers confidence through its sincerity and conviction. The maritime and water-based metaphors evoke a certain feeling, yes, but I think it also could serve as a biblical analogy of spiritual rebirth. Never needing to explicitly mention Christian terms or figures to evoke and establish a powerful connection to faith, being open to other interpretations as well.

I've seen your work since you competed a year ago early in 2022 and your runner-up entry. Keep writing man you got some serious talent, definitely a winner in the making.

At one point I had changed the title to "God Speaks" but changed it back to the original for the sake of the contest. Most people tend to be selective when it comes to content. The more religious poems I find tend not to bode as well in the contest which is why I opted for the original. Thank you kindly for your words of praise. I appreciate it very much.
