don't come back

I don't want you to come back
But if you did
I'd let you
We could start from the beginning
Or right where we left it

If you did come back
I'd look past all the reasons why it ended
And remember the passion
All the moments where it felt like you and I were the only ones in the world

If you did come back
I'd forget that I'm okay being alone
And that someone out there may treat me better
Because you are all I ever want
Now and forever

So please
Don't come back
