Rhymed
I pursuit of freedom from persecution
Pilgrims invaded an indigenous land
Brought disease and heretical religion
Native Americans didn't understand

Who's thankful now for the past genocide
Few survive from indigenous ancestry
Those still here shed tears they hide
Remember settlers stole their land with opportunity
