Uncle Dan's Will

Uncle Dan wrote out his will,
All legal-like and proper.
He knew he'd not much time to kill
Before he'd come a cropper.

He'd truly lived a merry life
And led us all a dance.
He never took himself a wife,
But loved a good romance.

A ladies' man he'd always been,
And when the will was read,
Several ladies graced the scene
To hear just what was said.

All those ladies came away
With trifling bits and pieces,
But old Dan's fortune on that day
Went to his favourite nieces!

Uncle Dan sure knew how to keep things interesting till the very end! His playful spirit and penchant for romance shine through in the way he orchestrated his will. The colorful tale of several intrigued ladies gathering to hear the will being read adds a touch of humor and intrigue to the scene. Despite the anticipation, the twist at the end, where his favorite nieces inherit his fortune, adds a heartwarming and unexpected conclusion to Uncle Dan's story. It's a reminder that sometimes, the most cherished gifts are those bestowed out of love and affection rather than mere material wealth. Uncle Dan's legacy of love and generosity lives on through his thoughtful gesture towards his nieces.
