Lord Howe's Island
Glorious ancient remnants of fire
shape into a crescent moon
creating a safe haven
for coral to dwell within.
Foam slaps Lord Howe's shores
giving green life to his calderas.
Looming Lidgbird and Towering Gower
silently sleep together in this paradise.
If they awaken from their slumber
the Tasman depths will tremble
and Lord Howe shall no longer live
in obscurity.
