A forbidden story

Date Written: November 4, 2017

Trust me, I know how it feels.

Trust me, I've heard it for real.

Trust me, even ice won't help heal.

Behind every mask is a story forbidden.

The truth itself can no longer be hidden.

It's hard to see what truly lies beneath.

With all these fake smiles used as a sheath.

But trust me, I know.

These masks will not hold forever,

As reality is much more cleaver.

We may fall from time to time,

but remember, it'll be your turn to shine.

We may bend and break,

ache and flake.

But for goodness sake it all takes time,

Time to examine, examine our climb.

Don't let them bring you down.

Be you and wear your crown.

Keep in mind it ain't the end,

as you still have your whole life to spend.

every fall is a lesson so hope to rise
But to rise there is only lesser chance in life
    good and optimistic.
