Homecoming

Winds have passed through the decades

Heavy boots heading the parades

Red snow drizzles, powdering roofs

The color sinking into the sky, it's very grooves

Shaved heads, clad in green

Mixed with red, different openings on skin

Screams fill the blood red sky

Unearthly silences, the underworld marching by

Painful cries and groans in the air

Children crying in despair

Innocence turned into violence

Not asked, not of preference

And when the saviour has come

And finally the end has begun

They are saved, wrapped in love's arms, taken

Slowly brought and thawed to a gruesome homecoming
