I do not imagine my family will be surprised,
As I float into that desolate sky
I shall die as I had lived,
Patiently waiting to die.
My body sliced open
The floor painted red.
Soon we will no longer be broken,
Shortly after I am dead.
The deed is done, I’ve lost it all,
What a fool I must have been
I cut the rope and you let me fall,
The way I was to my only friend.
I lay and stare up at the moon,
As if we weren’t already worlds apart.
This pain will all be over soon,
The bitterness in my heart.
As I bleed, I dream of your face,
And welcome death with a warm embrace.
