Inside his mind he constructed a town
Built only of popsicle sticks;
He always loved this town so much more
Than the one he made of stacked mud bricks.
His buildings and trees stood so high
And his houses looked just right;
His popsicle stick people were skinny
But they sure made a beautiful sight!
The town always stayed quite busy
With the pedestrians, traffic, and diving birds;
It was a buzzing bustling metropolis
If only he could put it into words!
