The harbor Vancouver

Houses many ships from the grey sheens

And black waves driving force on slippery hulls

A looming shape seeking refuge

From the storm

The city Vancouver

Holds calming waters, nestled where it kisses the sea

Calming shorelines wrapping around glass towers

Where lovers return together in the night

Safe from the dark night

Until the sun rises behind the mountains

Crisp, and clear silvery sphere

The eye of the wind a strong, prominent structure

Atop a peak of strength makes the city’s contrast shimmer

The people Vancouver

Vibrant and beautiful hailing from all corners of this world

From ocean places and sandy dunes

Vancouver, they come to in search of something new

And here they will find it

An energy in the streets

Pulsing in the night scenes

A constantly moving, evanescent so serene.
