People like us might be more susceptible to lows and depression, but when we feel something we pursue it relentlessly and leave nothing to chance. We weigh carefully the bricks with which we construct our relationships. We measure where we have been left wanting. We paint each stone we choose with the heart and not with brushes of surety. We pace the hallways of our minds, contemplating the possibilities within our existence. We will freely throw ourselves into the oblivion with the hope of building something greater than our world. Even if we end up drowning in the possibilities that were never wanted, we find it infinitely better than drowning in the perpetual unknown.
