Everybody's life is like a flower.

Small or tall like a tower

beatiful like a purple sunset

or maybe shriveled, needs a reset

All our flowers are unique

At the base of the mountain, not at the very peak

truth is, we don't grow that far

We grow to our ability to form who we are

Some people blossom and bloom and fly away in the wind

Others may be quite beautiful but won't live

Poppys, cockelshells, roses

Marigolds, tulips, posies

We may seem similar but are not at all

But we all die at some point in the fall

Withering, screaming, breathing the cold air

Petals fall like our dying hair
