Closure (Haiku Style)

Excuses you made.

Your deceitful manoeuvres,

Tricking me always.

Cheating me to think,

I was inapt and worthless.

Just like you; to blame.

Mistakes on both sides,

I admit, but you evade.

You always spurned aid.

Your contradictions,

Never fail to mystify.

Rather humorous.

But now I can see,

Reassurance is pointless.

I never lived up.

The bond departed

The year you snubbed my being.

Like I was deceased.

A mother you say,

A mother earns that title.

You did but failed too.

Now I have closure.

A final poem to say.

I forgive you now.

Excuses I made.

For your inexcusable,

Need to disregard.

No longer will I

Leave my door ajar for you.

My mind is now closed.

Goodbye and farewell

It is time for a new start,

I’m now moving on.
