He tastes her,

& he realizes he was starving.

He drinks but realizes

that his thirst has not been quenched

as he lay drenched in her arms.

Is he lost or doomed?

What gloom to have to

start anew!

Fear not, for your Love is

missed at night,

gazing upon the lonely moon.

If you are alone

& you are true,

maybe I was meant for You,

as I meander the nefarious tides

of solitude, hugging my pillow tight.
