Mary had a Little Lamb

Mary had a little lamb,

Its fleece was black as death.

Though Mary was but young

She drew her last eternal breath.

The poor lamb was left all alone

To drown its own sorrow.

To think why she never came home;

if she'll  be back tomorrow.

Mary had a little lamb,

Who's tongue was cracked with thirst.

Its skin was sucked into its bones

The world seemed to be curst.

The grass grew brown from ever drought,

The water dried up too.

The poor lamb drew its final breath,

So then his life was through.
