Castle

Here I sit atop my thrown

I built myself to have control

Oh how it feels so alone

When you don’t let in another soul

When I see the kingdom fall

Listen for my piercing screams

When a see a threat to the walls

I run fast away into my dreams

I built myself a castle so strong

Tall walls with stone layered thick

to protect from all the wrong

safe from the devil and his tricks

No one can hurt me from in here

I have no worry about enemies

But I was wrong about what to fear

For the danger hides within me

So here I sit atop my thrown

Far away from other’s fists

However I am all alone

Driving the knife in my own wrists
