I will thank the Lord at all times,
As my mouth will always praise Him;
He has forgiven all my crimes,
Was a burden that made feel grim.
My soul will boast about the Lord,
Those oppressed will hear and rejoice;
And I will be in one accord,
As I will be lifting my voice.
Praise the Lord, His greatness with me,
Let us highly honor His name;
For His beauty that we can see,
Of the creation to proclaim.
I went to the Lord to assist,
He responded and rescued me.
The agony that did persist,
Was unbearable as can be.
All who look towards Him start to glow,
Be radiant in their faces;
While all others then will know,
Merely who the Lord embraces.
Just as the poor man who called out,
The Lord saved him from His trouble;
For he never had any doubt,
To be rescued from the rubble.
An angel of the Lord is near,
Ready to perform a rescue;
Diligent over those who fear,
Help when you need to pursue.
Taste and see that the Lord is good,
Bless the person to take recourse;
And willing to do as they should,
Knowing that the Lord is the source.
Fear the Lord, you holy people,
Know just who really do belong;
Those who fear go to His temple,
Praising unto Him with your song.
Come children and listen to me,
I will teach you the fear of the Lord;
Giving the insight as to see,
So that He is loved and adored.
