‘Til Death Do Us Part

Date Written: September 13, 2017

I sit and think of you with patience
I am perpetually longing for your presence
My heart still beats for you with a loving cadence
In just thoughts' of you I find absolute pleasance

Day and night, broken memories haunt me
Passing through each is becoming daunting
With a smile on her face, she appears to taunt me
For she is my love in which he is flaunting

The bottle has helped fade you away
Earlier days still fill me sadness
I scarcely make it through the day
Friend, how can I escape my madness?
