Crossing the river

Forced to cross the river barefooted

Find uneven rocks just as if fitted

Trying to step on the rocks with splay legs

But fear stands to beg

Some one clutches my hand

So that I can firmly stand

Little Courageous though I shout

Firmly try to step the foot to grout

Move somehow with heavy sigh

Crossed at last and there hear the horse neigh
