Staring outside the window, watching you play

I do this every day, listening to the tick tock of the old clock.

I wait for you to catch me at the window once more, I wait for you to shriek in disgust

I wait for you to run away,

It is a sick game that I play, but a game all the same.

After you run away, I stare at my hands looking at the disgusting creature that I am, and long to be like you.

Then I look back up, and see that I've been abandoned again.

Over and over I look worse and worse, I wish to be normal, but I am just a creature.

I am just a human.
