Human Intentions

'My lord! help me to get a blue-blooded pardner,
For my work-place’, said a man to the seer,
Having plenitude of devoted followers,
Approaching him daily for benevolence mere;

That  man attended the discourses every day,
Reminding the seer, every two three days’ gap,
Nothing was coming out clear, being kept at bay,
months passed, without any conducive hap;

One day, the man decided to extract the reply,
In either way, from the seer, in yes or no,
Man asked: ‘Sir, I am tautened, financially drip-dry,
Apart from the deficient work force blow;’

Continuing he said, ‘I am in hurry, unable to get one’,
The seer felt sorry for extraordinary delay, and told,
‘Search of a person of your nature, I tried, got none’,
Man felt upset, spine-chilling, palpable snap of cold;

Man bewildered, abruptly oozed out in huff and puff,
‘Sir, it may be detrimental, if you get me of my type,
he may cheat, or at least loot, kill me or bluff’
sensing guilt, unable to retract words, during this  hype;
