Daughter is a flower, precious,
Looks to the father, as role model,
And for the family, she is a citadel,
Her siblings, sons are delicious,
Morale booster to the mother,
Inspiring chastity to spring up,
Every moment with, to live it up,
Lasting love towards the brothers;
With parents, her Lilliputian truss,
Ever thinks of family, she was born,
Both these homes, she adorns,
Her chatoyant view, without a cuss;
Her life full of hope and fear,
And love beyond the tryout,
Teaching, how to live about,
Let us bushel her falling tears;
She is insignia of the life force,
Beautiful angel from the heavens,
A song written with melodies seven,
Why not wipe out the Trojan horse;

I have a daughter and this poem brought joyous tears in my eyes. I feel lucky to be a mother of an angel, a princess. Love the depth of this poem

You wrote from your heart with a special place held dear, there is no doubt that you yourself have a lovely daughter, this is father's prideful heart speaking. Can you please explain this phrase to me: Let us bushel her falling tears - Is bushel also mean collect? This is how I learn new words and context. Very nice

One of the meanings of the bushel apart from 'measure of liquid' is 'alter or amend'. Another one is 'repair by replacing the torn or broken' in the system (last three words, it is my idea). On a wider sense, I mean -wiping the tears, by removing the cause. I am sorry to have dared to explain to one, who has better vocabulary than me. Thank you so much for the outstanding review. I appreciate it.

The innocence and beauty of a daughter still maintained with age. The poem conveys the delicate essence of the daughter and how we truly view her. I love this

a poem when it talks about less surprising, more well known facts of life such poems need to be extra special in being beautiful to read, having nice metaphors, tasty words and such. i think the poems which gives something fresh in terms of ideas to the reader they can be less pretty as reader will be happy just with the newness of the content

Thanks for your uncongenial review. It is a tribute to daughters. It may not be extra special, but a noble theme with a great flow. Certainly, it does not deserve Two stars.
