One sided love

I bloomed like a lotus waiting for the sun
It was in vain and made fun

Flowers all around swayed with wind
Honey bees hovered but it never tasted the nectar

Tall green trees all over
But bird never built a nest to rest

Fragrance spread inthe air
Never tried to smell and the aura remained still

This felt like the start of a great poem that feels incomplete. Would love it if you could continue..keep writing.
