Encounter

It was a cold day
The mood was dull and feeling at bay

I composed and went for a stroll
I walked and tried recall

Recollecting my pleasant memories
Relished and cherished the momentz

I went few miles i saw some one trembling
I wanted to help but something stopped me not
Doing so

My heart was heavy
So once morei went near

I had a great shock
I lost my balance and felt as if someone rocked

The weather was chill
My words choked as if i had swollowed a pill

I tried to hurry
But iheard feeble voice saying sorry

I stood like a stone and didnot react
My friend tried toreconcile but i remained like a hard ro ck

Every one shouted at me
Heart of heart i didnt have a strength to bear another misunderstanding

I went in my way
She knew her way

A brief encounter creates conflicts within your heart. Nicely expressed, Shobha !
