Eve

Eve
After emanating
Bright light
Tired sun
Fondled twilight

It rested
Yonder horizon
Peeped up
Cloud crimson

Silent, gentle
Tranquil dusk
Spread it slowly
Fragrance of musk

Over mountains
Fading twilight
Heralded it
Arrival of night

Eve saw
Sun down
Covered her
Night’s gown
