Mean World

Mean World

Me a liberal bird
They forced me into
Such a mean world
Their manners were like spanners
Tightening my nuts and bolts
Their mannerism
I suffered a kind of fascism
Their etiquettes
Put heavy pressure on my sentiments delicate
Their protocols
Suppressed my intuitive calls
Their rules and regulations
Made me die of slow strangulation
Their general code
Crumpled my life’s mode
Their taboos tight
Threat to my free flight
Their rigidity
Took away my liberty
I wish I could fly out of this mean world
And breathe air in liberal world
