Empty Hands

I have nothing to offer you
that you can hold in your hands.
I can't shower you in diamonds
or explore new lands.
I can't promise you the world
only my dreams in it.
And the air I breathe
every precious minute.

All I have is my heart
which is yours to hold.
My love will outlast
the boldest of bold.
To prove my loyalty
I would leave this place.
Taking only the memory
of your beautiful face.
