As You Taught Me

From ruffled to tamed,
In nadir demise,
 ‘Til to zenith, arise.
Expertise, is what’s been molded graciously.

Lost astray in entices',
self-doubt and suspicion,
In sunlight, You tamed
a disciplined person.

When chosen the road, infringed,
To be enlighten’d, deranged,
your couns’l, a dose, guiding me.

I am imperfect,
in open-mind did embrace,
Casts off wins to embrace truth,
accords to success for light to fuse,
with integr’ty, continually rose.

To heart instilled,
the eros unfailed,
forgotten, time worn,
but, in mem'ries, copiously adorned.

Intelligent use of language - but am I right in thinking that English is not your first language?
