Morning Bird

A sound,
Rat- a- tat- tat.
Black and white tuxedo,
And he tips his red feathered cap
Pecking.

My wife stocks the feeders, so we enjoy many varieties in and around the yard - you do get to know their calls and colors, their flight and habits. You have captured the downy woodpecker I do believe. One of our favorites too!
