Blooms are found on many vines
along our country road.
At night, if I did not know better, I
would sucpect a perfume manufacturer had
opened a factory nearby.
I am, in my mind, a boy again, plucking
the tubular blooms,
breaking off the back ends,
pulling stamens through;
Nature's swrrt necter gleefully sucking!
