WHY CAN'T I FIND LOVE THAT WILL ABIDE
I've searched high and low but where did it go?
WHY CAN'T I FIND LOVE THAT WILL ABIDE?
Is it too much to ask, too large a task,
for someone to give unselfishly, love to me?
Do I need a degree to carry me to the love that will set me FREE?
I've tried unsuccessfully giving my heart away
only to have it betrayed!

I wonder could it possibly be found
in knowing JESUS PERSONALLY?
