Poseidon’s Kiss
Dear Grecian god of the sea
Alas! You stole his heart from me
A sailor’s quest, a distant shore
A maiden’s despair forever more
How can I compare thy soul to thee
Tempestuous mistress of the sea
Captivating a man’s deepest desire
To seek adventures, a lady’s mire
d*mn Poseidon of the deep!
Seducing man, as widow’s weep
Whispering within their ear
“The love of the sea is ever near”
