I Know Someone

For the first time in my life,
I look forward to tomorrow.
For I have shed all the strife,
the misfortune, and the sorrow.

I remember someone say,
" To look forward to tomorrow,
is to believe in a lie. "
That someone, I do not know.

But I do know someone special,
who has taught me about love.
For he has sent me an angel,
from the heaven, up above.

This someone everyone knows,
all who believe and have faith.
He makes beautiful tomorrows,
and heaven, right here on earth.

Now I believe in tomorrow,
and this someone that is with us.
I look forward to tomorrow,
in the company....of Jesus.
