aHope for Cancer
 
 
I walk for the people
That are trying to cope
With the threat of their cancer
And to offer some hope
 
I walk with the survivors
Or memories of
People with cancer
While sharing their love
 
I walk for all mothers
Or sisters or friends
Believing this cancer.
Will soon have an end.
 
Inspiration is something
That not everyone will feel
 But walking for cancer
Made the experience real
 
For I never had cancer
But I know if I do
 I would get the support
And concern that is true
 
For the hardest part of dealing with cancer
Is the uncertainty you face
But they will comfort all your fears.
Sent to you from god’s grace.
 
This support will lift you up
The kind that warms your heart.
Fill you up with hope and strength
God’s promise from the start.
 
This hope is very similar
To unconditional love
Given freely just like mom
Or god gives from above
