Lighthouse

I keep having this dream of a lighthouse
In the middle of a cornfield.
It doesn’t belong, there is no such thing.
It’s like it was dropped from the sky.
I can’t find you these days.
I feel lost and confused.
But you’re still here,
Things just are not in the right place.
I think we have just had too much
Space and now we don’t know what to do.
This was always my fear.
I feel like there is a siren in the dream,
But it’s not one I can hear.
There is no peace and no worry
Just an odd and beautiful landscape
And an out of place despair.
I only wish you were there.
