Who decides the culture
What's important Why
Does the character ever change
Wherever we go
We take ourselves...
Can't we create the beauty too...
Or must the work be within
Spend a lifetimer on
Secular achievment and gain
Why are so many deceived
Why are so many deceived
When they never enjoy
the true meaning of life
The child...the poet...
But the white shoe man
Sees the trudgeryof his time loss
And he thought he was successful...
And he thought he was successful.

i guess i could not grasp the heart of the poem. is it the triumph of individuality against social pressure or is more of a anti-political statement?
