For Those Who Grieve

I pray for you
Loss cuts deeply
Like an open wound
To the heart
Sending fear, uncertainty
To surviviors
Whether they'll ever
Heal or not
They will . . . overtime

For those who weep
I comfort you
Sorrow and void
Squeazes in your throat
Forcing the tears to
Sting and flow
From your eyes
Like blood with no tournequet
Runneth over, draining dry . . .

For those who are lost
I am with you
Loneliness wil diminish quickly
As it began
'Cuz you are never alone
For God will be the guide
Through loss
If you let him
He will come
