She’s found herself under the sun –
The Earth a strange, unknown world.
Half of her heart has come undone,
Its naked flame became so cold.

Alive he used to keep it burning,
It blazed and shrined the love inside.
The cloven heart is now yearning
For missing part that simply died.

She’s walking, looking at the faces
That pass by her and float away.
All pretty smiles her mind erases,
Unveils the demons gone astray.

Her scared eyes deny the real,
It wounds them like a blinding light.
The weird impulse makes her kneel.
Has she just lost that righteous fight?

The shadows move around the stranger,
There’s no one with helping hand:
All apathetic, selfish rangers.
In solitude her thoughts descend.

Sheets of the rain exile the crowd.
She lies beneath the liquid skies,
Sees misty figure through the shroud
With seem to be familiar eyes.

She’s sinking into feverish sleep.
The Earth left strange, unknown world.
Slight hope stabs her heart so deep,
Its naked flame’s no longer cold.
