Where Is God?

Where is God,
through all the pain and sorrow?
Standing aside?
Promising an eternal tomorrow?
\Where is his sheilded grin?
I cannot find him.
Where is the face oh so holy?
The one that barely knows me,
barely shows me.
Where does he abort the unlucky?
Where is God?
He mustn't love me.
\Where is God?
That incarnate being.
Faith is believing
not seeing.

They fly to the Moon, they fly to the planets, but they did not find God yet. I don' where he is, I am mssing him  myself. They will never find him, I know by now. As you say, faith is believing...

Where is He when we go through pain? I discovered He is always where He is even when we are going through good times and forget to ask where is God to share in these joys He has given us? Right inside our hearts as look for Him out there.

Another very relevant poem, regarding the doubt that can creep into ones mind in these times of strife.

JOKE NOT FACT Foolish king, minister one eyed, Dominant is His Majesty’s guide. Funny indeed his ruling device; Honors foolish but hating wise. Disgusted all over wise and old Jointly united strong and bold, Committed a silent work to rule Foolish king once more befool. Treasure exhausts out of penny, Nation falls on slaves’ destiny. **************************

this is very deep it is defined based on what you are going through. no one else can define the way you believe.

So true faith is believing and not seeing. I have never seen my heart but I know I have one as I can hear it and feel it beating in my chest. I trust and believe that their is a God I feel him and hear him through many things.

The slash usage is new to me and effectively enrolls a voice different than the poem's narrator

If it were my poem i might have added to the last lines

/You will seek me
and find me
when you seek me
with all your heart.\
(Jeremiah 29:13)

In a cold dark world love is found at the foot of The Cross ... This world is the Titanic, Jesus is the Ark. In passing though a cold dark land hold onto Jesus nail scarred hand...
