I am 66yrs. of age. I am a widower, having lost my wife in 2010. We were married 41yrs. I have a daughter and son. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran. Wounded in Vietnam in 1968. Over the years I have had several professions. The one profession I am most proud of is as a Federal Police Officer. I retired from the profession in 2003. My wife and I had lived in Missouri and Illinois. When I retired we moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. We spent 7 yrs. there. When my wife died I moved back to Missouri, to my roots I started writing poetry in 1969 for my wife. She still is an inspiration for me.I love her heart and soul. My poetry revolves around my life experiences. I focus on the human condition and those tangible and intangible effects this life as on us.
