About Me and My Poetry

I've been writing since I was a kid...I enjoy putting thoughts onto paper it's like clearing out my mind. I'm not saying I'm good, but I try. Still I write, but the thoughts in my head get jumbled and it all comes out wrong. I know what I want to say, I hope it comes out that way. Anyway, I still write maybe to leave a little piece of me behind. Not here to cause trouble or be a hero. I am a kind person with a big heart and I only do what makes me feel good. Poetry happens to make me very happy and joyful. Sharing my most inner thoughts makes me a target it seems, with folks that don't like me. I assure I am not a hater, but I will stand up for myself for what's right and true. This site has made me feel like were all family and here for each other not a place to bicker and fight among us, but to enjoy each others work with respect and love. Please understand I am not here to cause problems, I am here for the same reasons you are.

I'll remember you're touch of warm hands running through my hair.

I cherish the moment when you dropped a heart of white chocolate into my coffee.

Picture a cool, crisp, California evening along the San Francisco bay.
Its foggy, but I can see the city lights from afar.
They twinkle like the stars high above the heavens.

I let my gaurd down, for I've taken a great fall.
No one else can make it through the gardens without a thorn.
You won't hurt me, like I've been hurt before.

Show me the dew from the morning's mist of rain.
It makes me cry, for it beauty is like a baby's lullaby.
Let the flakes of snow keep landing in my hands.

Take me somewhere when we met on the shores.
Take me in you're arms, and make the tides roar.
Lift me into the stars, and let me breathe the moon.

Not for anything important only lies.
When can we turn to what's inside?

Something from the heart desired the most.

Once in a while I've noticed how bluish skies turn dreary.
And the bluish of blue, turns the dreary skies to a blushing dawn.
I've noticed how the nights of stars burning to earth with fury.
