On Being Tardy

You are late for an appointment/date.
So pick up the phone and state the same.
Respect for the person is key.
Assuming it is OK to be late is not stylish.
You could end up alone or lose an interview.
Merely because of that lackadaisical spirit in you.

Interesting poem written here Sandra.  People often like to make an excuse for being late or not calling and letting someone know of their whereabouts.

This is a great ideal to live by however more and more in our society common courtesy is something from the past. I remember the days that when you submitted a resume they would respond stating you were not accepted for the position. Fast forward to today where no response at all is the new standard we live by. Aah to yearn for the gold old days.
