About Me and My Poetry

I don't know. I may be 16. My poems are short and usual don't rhyme for a reason. I write what I feel, No more no less, trying to make a poem longer, or trying to make it rhyme, would be forcing words out.

A mind does more damage to itself

Why does everybody feel the need to define or put into words something that is beautiful.

I questioned that came upon me,

The double wheel,
Mooned sky,
Dogs bark,
Children they flinch,
A spine tingling sense,
I worry.

The kids,
Soundlessly asleep,
They unaware,
Worryless,
The house creeks,
Eyes wide open,
I glance at side to side.

I worry.

If only someone could read my mind,
And make better use of my thoughts.

So much better it would be,
Than useless cures to cancer,
And hopeless theories of life.

The Knowledge in my head,
I have wordless answers.

The simplest of things,
Looked upon with a new perspective,
With an eye untrained by the ritualistic ignorance and unseeingness of your daily routines,
Will blow your mind.

Like the stars you gaze at night,
The stars they are pretty,
They are far and big,
You are here,
You acknowledge what your brain processes,
And yet you still don't make the connection.

You are looking at stars.

There's a certain profound wisdom in a child's opinion,
Contrary to an adults,
Whose may not nescesarilly be biased,
But had been planted there,
By previously adults before'm.

Although this is a kind of biased thought in itself,
Since I,
Being me,
Am a child.

I guess let's find someone who is neither a child,
Nor and adult.

And yes,
Teenagers are chilren too,
Just being fertilized.

Pure and solid.
Opaque and forever.
