I'm a single, 37 year old father of two beautiful girls. I work in the oil field and also served 18 years in the Army/Army reserves. I enjoyed writing poetry to express how I feel. I started writing for a love of a girl when I was 16 and since then I've written for the love of my country and for many other reasons. I don't have an over-the top vocabulary or a memory that can story a dictionary in it. I write more from within my own means and with simple words that feels right. Thank you for having my poems on here and they do bring back great memories.
