The Paragon is my first publication, based upon my experience of teaching in schools and colleges, universities, looking at the power of words and how they can cut like a sword, affect emotion without even placing a finger onto another human being. How does one say something and obtain the intentional effect? - This is something I have experimented with for many years and can say, I am still fascinated by the concept even today - a bio-rhythm as seen within nature, that is the machinery or contributing factor of our existence, the by-product being momentum or the measurement, time! When people mention poetry, it can conjour up any escape of the imagination to any one individual and may also suggest to the ‘bulldog’ male, or even female (without stereotyping), feminine overtones. Perhaps one needs to reflect on their own personal profile and decide if it is categorised as a weakness or strength. You only have to look throughout history of most leaders and the war generals to acknowledge a written form that holds a beat is a large persuader of mindset and also allows us scope to hang on and to remember some aspects of humanity. Reputation can be damaged

And with reflection I dwell....
